Jamie's Yearly Accomplishment Report

Exactly one year and six hours ago was the first time I went to Japan.

Di ko makakalimutan yung mga araw na yon. Ansaya e, lahat bago sa paningin ko. Lahat first time.

I've gone back two more times after that, and in total I have spent seven months of the past year here. (Shet more than half.) So what have I been doing all that time?

On the technical side,
1. Finished first KMBT project; learned Flash and Rhino.
2. Finished second KMBT project; learned that I suck at programming.
3. Currently finishing third KMBT project; became 制御１３開発窓口; learned that I will forever suck at programming.

On the other hand,
1. Had picture taken with clueless Lunch Guy.
2. Became trainee of the hottest guy in KMBT Itami.
3. Found out hottest guy in KMBT Itami is married. :(
4. Became friends with forever clueless Lunch Guy.
5. Had picture taken with clueless boyfriend of the hottest guy in KMBT Itami.
6. Found out clueless boyfriend is married. :(

Ugh. Latest yung 6, fresh pa yan from yesterday. Nagyoyosi break kami ni Jim sa hard core smoking room tas tiyempong kinorner ni Jim si Boyfriend.

Jim: "Yoshida-san... ano... Jamie-san wa kikitai koto ga arimasu." ("Boyfriend... ano... may tanong sa 'yo si Jamie."
Boyfriend: "Eh?"
Jamie: "?!?"

POTA BINENTA NA NAMAN AKO, HAYUUUP. Anyway chinika-chika sya ni Jim about stuff, and the end result is I will never forget the following dialogue, after Boyfriend said his province is near Tokyo.

Jim: "Doushite Osaka ni hataraite imasu ka?" ("Bakit ka sa Osaka nagtatrabaho?")
Boyfriend: "Ano... kekkonshita toki," ("Nung nagpakasal ako...")

After nung mga katagang "kekkonshita toki" nanikip na ang dibdib ko at wala na akong ibang narinig. Awts, straight through the heart. Pero di pa tapos.

Jim: "Kodomo ga imasu ka? Nan nin desu ka?" ("May anak ka na? Ilan?")
Boyfriend: "Futari." ("Dalawa.")

OUCH TATLONG KUTSILYO SA DIBDIB. Hindi ko matanggap, may asawa na si Boyfriend... limang buwan nya 'kong nilinlang!!! Hindi man lang sinasabi na may asawa't anak na sya!!! (Hahaha as if XD) Anyway apparently he's at least 30 or 31 years old, pero mukha syang mga 27 lang siguro. Grabe naman MAGSUOT KA KASI NG SINGSING NO BUTI PA SI ANJO.

Haay. Alalahanin na lang natin the gorgeousness that is Boyfriend.

Astig di ba. The date I've been dreaming of for the past five months. March 31. Ugh. Makakauwi nga ako nang maaga nun. Haha. Just my freaking luck.


Haha. Lupet ng update ko no. Sorry na. Sinusubukan kong matulog nang maaga lately e. And besides I've been watching Proposal Daisakusen - which, by the way, I finished an hour ago. I don't know what the hell you think you're doing, but Yamapi - dear, sweet, Yamapi - twitching your mouth every other second does NOT necessarily mean you are acting.


In every scene he always looks like he just put something into his mouth he didn't agree with. Dondake. Sorry NEWS, hardcore Arashi fan 'to. Keep your leader, I like my Riida better. :D


Haha. Anyway, Proposal Daisakusen was ok. Extremely, excruciatingly, mind-numbingly FRUSTRATING, but it's got something to deliver naman. Medyo "ehh" lang yung actual ending, pero sige na nga. And Mike? Now we can talk about you being Iwase Ken. May layers-layers ka pang nalalaman. XD

Syet 3:30 na. Fine, tulog na nga. Ja ne.

Hmmm.

Reading my last post, I suddenly realized that I did not have my annual, inspiring, not to be missed, very upbeat, Very Happy Valentine's! Post. (see this, this, and this.)

And then I remembered, it's my sixth Valentine's Day without roses, without chocolates, without anything, without anyone. I spent this year's Valentine's Day at the office, with my Japanese robot officemates who don't seem to care about anything. Least of all the kilig they should be giving me because it's FREAKING VALENTINE'S DAY, Jesus H. CHRIST.

Wahahahahahaha XD Don't mind me, I couldn't sleep tonight. Jim's snoring away on my carpet and I... I can't sleep. And anyway I'm too old for all that Valentine's Day crap. Or maybe nakalimutan ko na. Which is... sad, either way. Hahahahaha XD

What I genuinely like about Valentine's Day is that I can bitch about stuff, act all bitter and shit, and it'd be perfectly rational behavior. I like that. I mean, I do that the rest of the year anyways, but acting all bitchy and bitter during Valentine's is more meaningful. And special. :D

For some reason, though Utoy speaks strictly English only, his accent's kinda Japanese. He pronounces his sister's name as "a-SHU-li", for one. Haha.

Wala share ko lang, mga pics na pinadala sa 'kin ni Ate of her bunso (and my niece) Ashley over the last few months.

In fairness, may times naman na mukha syang normal na bata. Tulad nito.

Umiiwas na nga ako e, kaso napipilitan ako dahil sa trabaho. Tsk. Bakit kasi mukhang J-pop idol 'tong ungas na 'to. Haaaay... kahit sobrang bad trip 'tong araw na 'to, isang ngiti lang nya na... ugh. Enough.

In other news, I hear I can go to hell for this. Hahahahaha XD

Welcome to Monday Evening

Na-realize ko a few days ago, six weeks na lang pala yung natitira sa contract ko sa KMBT. Six weeks. Parang kelan lang, sabi ko kay Bondi antagal na nung two weeks pa lang ako dito. Ngayon sobrang lapit na.

Kaya siguro bigla akong napressure tuloy i-dokumento ang buhay ko dito. Hmm. Magsimula na lang tayo sa Monday Evening.

1. Tingin Sa Likod


View ng pinto pagkapasok ko ng bahay. Tatlong pinto in one shot. Hahaha ang bored ko mag-picture no.


2. Tingin Muna Sa Salamin


Whoa gwapo. Nagulat ka rin no. I dunno why I put that next to the mirror. Obviously talbog nya ang beauty ko. Hahaha. Damn you Matsujun why do you have to be prettier than me.


2. Dinner


Tonight I went home early enough from the office to actually buy and prepare dinner for myself. I stopped by the Kansai Supermarket and bought some groceries before going home and stuffing myself with all sorts of Japanese goodies. (Kain nang kain potek di naman tumataba.) Tonight's dinner consisted of pasta topped with tuna and mayonnaise sauce (not in picture; also not made from scratch, obv), sashimi (consisting of three types of fish), and strawberries dipped in cream. Di ba bagay sila sa isa't isa? Hahaha XD Okey lang masarap naman e.


3. Arashi no Shukudai-kun (Mondays at 12 MN)

Matsujun with this week's guest, some actress person I've definitely seen in a Matsujun thing somewhere. At first "Boku Wa Imouto Ni Koi Wo Suru" came to mind, but then later on I remembered this wasn't the on-screen sister he got it on with. (This was his younger sister in Gokusen.)


Ohno's face before the usual Shukudai-kun challenge. Sabi nya, "Kore muri desu." ("This is impossible.") Ang kyuuut! Hahahaha ang adik ko XD Anyway this week, while two members of a team try to answer a quiz question, one member has to run on a big vat filled with a mixture of water, cornstarch, and some other powder. The point is if the "runner" runs fast enough, he will - theoretically - not sink. The team loses the point if the runner sinks before the two other members answer the question. Point: never underestimate the entertainment value of Japanese TV shows.

Totally Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Right now I'm feeling too lazy to write anything, so in lieu of incoherent babbling I will post Arashi-related pictures instead. Enjoy.

Arashi's Satoshi Ohno will have his first personal art exhibition, titled "FREESTYLE," at an art space in Omotesando Hills. Ohno's talent for art is well known among his fans, and many have been hoping to see his art in person. The exhibit includes approximately 150 works in several forms, such as drawings, figures, photos, and graffiti. It will run from February 21 to 29 and is admission-free. On February 8, ahead of the exhibit, Ohno's art will be released as a photobook, also titled "FREESTYLE."

Since I had some free time last weekend, and I was in Tokyo, I really didn't have a choice, did I?
