I was having my early morning smoke at the balcony facing Ayala Avenue with my Y.B.s Serusan and Jim the Volleyball-Serving Robot when we had this conversation.
jMe: "Mag-request kaya tayo ng bench dito. Gusto ko ng upuan."
Jim: "Ayaw nila e, baka raw gawing tambayan."
Serusan: "Request na lang tayo ng nagbebenta."
Kulet. Anyway I digress. We really should have a bench out there. Smokers are people too, you know. Our legs get tired, and we need to sit too, you money grubbing f's in upper management.
I get really pissy when I'm at the balcony, playing God while the maddening crowd go about their lives below me.
