Accidental Joke of the Day

The other day, actually.

Background story muna: as some people may know, my nephew-slash-pet Utoy is into the Power Rangers: Ninja Storm series. (Segue lang: andami na palang spin-off nung original na Mighty Morphin series amp, may Ninja Storm, Zeo, Turbo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed, Time Force, Wild Force, Dino Thunder, S.P.D., saka Mystic Force. OMG I'm old, wala na 'kong alam dito, Bioman kid ako e.)

Actually, "Power Rangers adik" would be the more appropriate term to describe Utoy. Anyway napipikon at umiiyak sya pag tinatawag ko syang Zurgane, which is the name of one of the villains in the show.


That's Zurgane. Teasing Utoy goes a little something like this:

Me: "Utoy Zurgane!"
Utoy: "No Zurgane, Utoy!"
Me: "Utoy Zurgane!"

After about thirty rounds of this:

Utoy: (maiiyak na) "No Zurgane, Utoy na..."

Anyhow I was teaching him the difference between the terms "boy" and "girl" at the time, then afterwards started teasing him again about being Zurgane. And then he let me have one.

Me: "Utoy Zurgane!"
Utoy: "No Zurgane, Utoy!"
Me: "Utoy Zurgane!"
Utoy: "Tita boy!"

Skwater. Natawa 'ko bigla e. I don't think he actually knew what he meant by saying it, but it was hella funny.
